To run a bot with bureaucrat privileges on the Test Wiki, you must first get it approved. Follow the instructions below to add a request and list of archived bots approved requests are seen here.

- To block proxies regularly according to meta:Special:log/gblblock (needs sysop flag)
- To remove Administrators' Newsletter category from user talk pages if any publisher forgot to remove the category from the AdminNews (needs AWB)
- Automatic, Supervised, Semi-automatic, or Manual: Semi-automatic (Supervised)
- Programming languages: JavaScript for blocking proxies and AWB for remove categories.

- Estimated number of pages/users affected: at most 30 user talk pages and 50 IPs per period.

- Hello, thanks for the request! Something I am curious about is why the bot requires bureaucrat rights. Blocking proxies and category removing shouldn’t need this, correct? Let me know if I’m missing something! X (talk + contribs) 11:35, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
