 | Stewards may add bureaucrat permissions to a Bot account at the request of its operator without consensus. Without steward permission, another user may not add bureaucratic permissions to a bot. Failure to heed this warning may be followed by removal of bureaucratic privileges without prior warning or consideration. |
To run a bot with bureaucrat privileges on the Test Wiki, you must first get it approved. Follow the instructions below to add a request and list of archived bots approved requests are seen here.
Bot's approval request for bureaucrats

- Function:
- To block proxies regularly according to meta:Special:log/gblblock (needs sysop flag)
- To remove Administrators' Newsletter category from user talk pages if any publisher forgot to remove the category from the AdminNews (needs AWB)
- Automatic, Supervised, Semi-automatic, or Manual: Semi-automatic (Supervised)
- Programming languages: JavaScript for blocking proxies and AWB for remove categories.

- Periods: At least once a month (I hope)
- Estimated number of pages/users affected: at most 30 user talk pages and 50 IPs per period.
