CheckUser är en begränsad specialsida, som enbart stewards och systemadministratörer har tillgång till. CheckUser tillåter behöriga användare att kontrollera vilka IP-adresser som använts av ett användarkonto, information som normalt är dold. De kan även se annan teknisk information om webbläsare och användarklienter.
En logg över användningar av CheckUser-verktyget hålls privat. På grund av verktygets känslighet tilldelas inte rättigheterna andra användare än stewards eller systemadministratörer, förutom i undantagsfall. Administratörer kan däremot testa verktygen, men enbart på sitt eget konto och IP-adress.
They can also view some other technical information about browsers and user clients.
This is not usable by normal users
A log of CheckUser actions is kept privately. Due to the sensitivity of the tool, Checkuser rights will not be granted to any non-stewards or sysadmins except under exceptional circumstances. Administrators, however, can test the tool on their own account and IP address only.
