Block appeal

@Q8j: I am quite concerned about your recent block towards me with only a reason “clearly not here to test tools”. There are several reasons below about why I believe this block and your actions against me is inappropriate:

  1. Is there a specific policy saying that users here must test? It seems no. If non-test actions are prohibited here, then stewards and bureaucrats who have done non-test actions should all be blocked at first. From my edits, I have made 2 constructive edits in the community portal, participating in discussions. Can you state what is wrong of my edits?
  2. Let me bring out something happened recently. Apex have been blocked after adding profanity consistently for 2-3 months, during the period numerous warnings are placed. However, an indefinite block have been placed towards me after 2 constructive edits of mine, with no warnings. Is this correct even my edits are inappropriate?
  3. When you use the rollback tool, it is a must that the edit is either vandalism or spam. However, rollback is used to my questions and comments on the community portal, which doesn’t fall into the categories above. Can you explain why you use such a tool? Blocks are not meant to get rid of a user’s constructive opinions, and so an undo should also not be made to my edits.

As such, I believe this block is inappropriate and should be removed at once. Cc @MacFan4000: for steward intervention on this block. -Matttest (talk) 03:46, 30 July 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
