Word of advice and a caution[edit]

I don't think anyone has said this explicitly before, but at this point your use of user and user talk subpages has gone beyond a reasonable definition of "testing", and to all appearances seems to be an attempt at using this wiki for file storage/webhosting. To be clear, a test wiki is not meant to be used as a free online file storage space, it is meant to test mediawiki tools and scripts, not for any kind of useful content, this is why all your subpages have been repeatedly deleted.

There are many wikifarms that will host you for free if that's what you want, I can even point you at a few if you don't feel like searching yourself, from what I can tell, it actually doesn't look like you want others to edit the content anyway so a personal blog or website may be more appropriate.

This is also a strong caution that if you continue to insist on using your userspace this way you will eventually be indefinitely blocked to prevent you from doing so, it'd be better for everyone if that could be avoided since you've done some useful translation work, anyway if you have any questions you can ask me here or on my talk page. Yeah, I had to block you for a day for making extension talk pages of either a language I can't read (most likely), or gibberish. Like @Fast: said, if this continues, I will have to block you for another period of time, a week, then a month, then a year. If it even continues beyond that, indefinite. Just for the record, I don't think it will, I'm just offering a word of caution to be careful with how you go forward. BlackWidowMovie0 (talk) 21:47, 8 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@BlackWidowMovie0: those are pages written in perfectly meaningful vi, and hence not gibberish, the real issue is inappropriate use of userspace for free online file storage. Fast - ZoomZoom (talk) 21:59, 8 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I think if it is a test Wiki, there will be fine. It will not happen again. (talk) 14:36, 9 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

@: I will unblock you early, as I don't see a need for a block, due to the fact that it seems you've understood. Please remember this going forward. Thanks! BlackWidowMovie0 (talk) 16:37, 9 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
No worries, I can understand how the mistake happened, and we probably do need to write a guide to testing to give people a better idea of what is and is not acceptable. It's also at least in part my fault since I really should have left you a direct message earlier rather than hinting at it. So your files aren't lost forever, you can still view the deleted content and move it to an appropriate offsite location, just don't post it here again. And like I said earlier if you need help setting up a blog or finding a suitable wikifarm I can help point you in the right direction. It's even possible to download the mediawiki software and set up your own independent wiki, but for that you should really find a mediawiki expert, because I'm not knowledgeable enough to walk you thru that. Finally, thanks for your translation work, wiki barnraising is all about coming together as a group to build something none of us could've built on our own, and I certainly couldn't have done those translations myself, so keep up the work, and have fun testing, Best Fast - ZoomZoom (talk) 18:12, 9 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
