I am asking this question because three months can be 89 days, 90 days, 91 days or 92 days. Six months can be 181 days, 182 days, 183 days and 184 days. One year can be 365 days or 366 days in a leap year. This makes it fair and consistent, instead of an, while technically correct, inconsistent system we would have if we included all these variables.
