:Well, I see your point. We are a test wiki, so, testing with user rights is part of the testing process. I don't think we should be too strict if people start giving themselves redundant rights. So, I tend to say, "let them do it". As long as they don't grant bureaucrat rights to any alternate accounts (sockpuppet and bots), I think it's permissible to have redundant rights. Hi. I haven't been here for a while and I don't know if I will be active anytime soon. However, my username in Wikimedia was changed to Luigi Nakano, since I may soon become a recognized person in my university (I'm engaged with the student movement).
