==Redundant user rights==

Hey! I'm curious if it's okay to have redundant user rights&mdash;in my view, they make it harder to see the actual change in the rights log because of the many user groups. :Well, I see your point. We are a test wiki, so, testing with user rights is part of the testing process. I don't think we should be too strict if people start giving themselves redundant rights. So, I tend to say, "let them do it". As long as they don't grant bureaucrat rights to any alternate accounts (sockpuppet and bots), I think it's permissible to have redundant rights. Hi. I haven't been here for a while and I don't know if I will be active anytime soon. However, my username in Wikimedia was changed to Luigi Nakano, since I may soon become a recognized person in my university (I'm engaged with the student movement). Redundant user rights

Hey! I'm curious if it's okay to have redundant user rights—in my view, they make it harder to see the actual change in the rights log because of the many user groups. Dear @Tester,
Well, I see your point. We are a test wiki, so, testing with user rights is part of the testing process. I don't think we should be too strict if people start giving themselves redundant rights. So, I tend to say, "let them do it". As long as they don't grant bureaucrat rights to any alternate accounts (sockpuppet and bots), I think it's permissible to have redundant rights. Hi. I haven't been here for a while and I don't know if I will be active anytime soon. However, my username in Wikimedia was changed to Luigi Nakano, since I may soon become a recognized person in my university (I'm engaged with the student movement). I therefore no longer want my surname and initials to be present in my username. I'd like this account to be renamed to Luigi Nakano too, if that's possible. Thanks in advance.   • Due to a discussion at the Community Portal, the non-steward suppressor role has been abolished.
  • A discussion at the Community Portal supported that the autopatrolled user right be added to the autoconfirmed permission. Additionally, there were no objections (by way of replies) for the autochecked and autoreviewed user groups to be merged with autopatroller and patroller user groups, respectively. See phab:T126.
