Summary
Description027 Atlantic puffin in flight with mouth full of fishes Photo by Giles Laurent.jpg |
English: Atlantic puffin (Fratercula arctica) in flight with mouth full of fishes at Friðland í Flatey (Iceland). The Atlantic puffin can catch several small fish at once. Its muscular, grooved tongue and inverted serrations enable it to hold its catches in rows in its beak.
