:::PMJI, but in recent weeks rule of thumb has been, 24 hours plus at least 2-3 edits after the flag is added plus a request, then check to see that there's been no disruption, if all the boxes are checked grant the flag. I'm not saying that's the right answer, but the archives also show a similar pattern. Honestly, we probably should formalize the procedure somewhere, but given that no problems or arguments have resulted so far it's not exactly urgent.
