On a related note, I can understand some irritation if you feel others are stealing your ideas, but let's be real here, it doesn't take a genius to think of testing scripts from other wikis here, you are far from the first people at this wiki to make those kind of edits, and bluntly accusing your fellow editors of stealing ideas is unlikely to result in a productive conversation anyway. Nothing too much to worry about but it always helps to be in the know, Best Fast - ZoomZoom (talk) 21:53, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

::Contrary to what Fast has said above, scripts from other sites can be loaded with something such as: <code>mw.loader.load("https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:AzaToth/twinkle.js?action=raw&ctype=text/javascript");</code> Naleksuh (talk) 04:06, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

:::Naleksuh Thanks for the correction. Well you learn something knew everyday, and as much as I've learned about how mediawiki works over the past weeks I still have far more to learn.<div style="margin-top:0.5em"></div>While we're on this topic I was curious enough about remote tools to do a few forum searches and it seems that a set of tools set up on amazon web services can be run across multiple independent wikis without too much difficulty. Now I didn't see anything about wikimedia toolforge specifically, but I would think that similar principles are in play so it should be possible to run those tools here. However, it's my general understanding that compared to other wikifarms, wikimedia is somewhat more security conscious and much more bureaucratic, so some kind of approval might be needed. Thought you should know that testing warnings on the talk pages of other users as you did here and here is improper. Please conduct your user warning tests only on your own talk page, the talk pages of your test accounts, or on User talk:Example. Likewise rollback should usually be tested in mainspace, rollback test for example is the perfect place for it, not that you can't do it elsewhere at all as there are testpages in other namespaces, but a bit more caution is needed to check to ensure the page is appropriate for testing. Following this advice helps to avoid confusion and keeps you from creating additional work for others. I know your intent here is humorous, but not all of your fellow testers will find it amusing. Not a big deal just yet, but something to keep in mind going forward. So have fun testing, but please do be careful to make your test edits in the correct places.
