Bureaucrats are users who can mass-delete pages, add and remove bureaucrat, admin, and bot rights, and perform more advanced administrator actions with extensions. Bureaucrat rights will be granted upon request, but requesters must first be an administrator or previously possessed the rights before they were taken for inactivity or another purely procedural reason. Bureaucrat rights are required for any user seeking to gain system administrator, suppressor, or steward.
