Request for permissions

You can request administrator, bureaucrat, or other permissions below. You must already be an administrator to be eligible for bureaucrat permissions. Interface administrator rights can only be granted by the stewards and are only given to highly trusted users. Non-steward suppressor rights may be requested here, but two stewards must support your request. However, the right is only granted to trusted users for non-test reasons. Otherwise, please request suppression rights at the Community portal. All rights will be removed after 3 months of inactivity. Other Permissions: Bot, translate administrator, interwiki admin, autopatrol, For Steward or System Administrator, a vote should take place on the community portal. Bureaucrats, you can use the userRightsManager gadget to easily handle requests. Please note that you should make a confirmation edit, then link to the diff on the other wiki, when specifying cross-project accounts.

Other comments: I formerly held these rights, and was then banned, which was ironic as the wiki I made questionable decisions on was being sockpuppeted on by the owner of said wiki, so the removal of these rights should be imho found to be invalid. Zippybonzo (talk) 21:10, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

 weak oppose -- Given the past abuse for which Zippybonzo was also banned, and the fact that he just returned to this wiki, I think the request is premature. Also, I don't know if I trust Zippybonzo enough to grant him these rights at this time. I am inclined to say that he needs to regain our trust first. Looks a bit suspicious to me. I don't want to accuse anyone at all, but it seems kind of suspicious that just 24 minutes after Harvici was granted bureaucrat, this account appeared with a generic username and immediately requested three advanced rights, with the request being granted just 4 minutes after. Similar to Harvici's request above, I notice the pattern that there are no spaces between the commas in the "Requested rights" point. Might be incorrect though.
