There seems to be a general trend towards [[w:WP:CON|consensus]] that the user is ''active'' and perhaps ''trusted'', though only two users have expressed a few to the latter and another user has characterized Q8j as seeming to be "responsible" and other users haven't explicitly stated those views (though it may well be implied). We must be cautious in reading too much into what people have said, or not said, though, so it is best to take their views at face value (i.e., that which is explicitly stated). There are three neutral views, which aren't express support views and their arguments tend to echo [[User:NguoiDungKhongDinhDanh|NguoiDungKhongDinhDanh]]'s opposing view that there may not be much, if any, ''need'' for an additional Steward. Indeed, looking at the [[Special:Log/renamuser|historical renames]], sixteen (16) users have had been renamed in the past six or seven years since Test Wiki was created. That's an average of two renames per year. Assuming MacFan4000 and I each take one rename and assuming the historical average pattern repeats itself, that's one rename apiece in 2022. In terms of problematic users, we have one [[w:WP:AGF|good-faith]] user who is being managed through [[Special:AbuseLog/88|an abuse filter]] and one persistent LTA (Andyyeung), who we seem to be managing. There was one more support from Seiyena, and their argument largely echos AlPaD's and Trayfel's argument that Q8j is ''active'' but makes no mention was to the apparent ''need''. Indeed, by Q8j's own admission, they are chiefly active with permissions requests. I'm in the process of creating a Steward-granted <code>abusefilter-maintainer</code> non-test group on Test Wiki, so we could potentially explore a Steward granted <code>senior-bureaucrat</code> group that would have the ability to grant interface administrator permissions to trusted users under strict Steward defined conditions, potentially. The final support was unsigned and thus procedurally invalid. On a strict nosecount, that's four supports, two of which were weaker arguments, one oppose, and three neutrals, all of which echo the opposing view. So, in short, no consensus. When we(BC) need steward's action, decision or approval, we send notification to stewards like "@MacFan4000 and @Dmehus". But sometimes their response can take some time. | |||
It can't be helped, given that there are only 2 stewards and they don't(of course, aren't obligated to) check this site frequently. | |||
I frequently check this site and notifications, so I think I can shorten response time. | |||
Of course, I'll be careful when I decide something or use permission as steward. | |||
