For one thing, your account is ''barely'' [[Special:Redirect/logid/29359|two months old]]. ''Account age'', on its own, is not necessarily a prerequisite, but taken together with your [[metawikimedia:Special:CentralAuth/Trayfel|confirmed Wikimedia global account]] having ''only'' ~300 global edits in the past twelve months since it's been created, almost all of which are either (a) userspace sandbox edits and/or (b) counter-vandalism remediation on [[w:Special:Contributions/Trayfel|English Wikipedia]], I am unable to ascertain your overall technical ability. Additionally, and perhaps more crucially, you have '''zero (0)''' patrol log entries on Test Wiki, only '''three (3)''' [[Special:Log/Trayfel|user rights log entries]], one of which was [[Special:Redirect/logid/29954|an incorrect interpretation]] of the [[Test Wiki:Inactivity policy|inactivity policy]] and [[Special:Redirect/logid/29956|correctly overturned]] by [[User:PorkchopGMX|PorkchopGMX]]. Other than a few test blocks, there's really no other edits and log actions to assess the user's understanding of, and ability to ''apply'', our policies, so I am unable to get any real clear ''sense'' of that. Finally, the user identified wanting to assist MacFan4000 and I with user renames and checking for sockpuppetry. In terms of the former, there have been only '''[[Special:Log/renameuser|fifteen (15) renames]]''' in the preceding six (6) calendar years and, seeing as I have only had to add my <code>checkuser</code> hat in the more than one month since I've been a Steward and since I am also active daily here, in terms of daily review of the community portal, permission requests, and recent changes, I don't feel there's a sufficient rationale here ''either''. It'd ''potentially'' be, ''if'' I had a better sense of the user's technical and policy-based abilities. Finally, I noted that you've only very recently joined our IRC channel, which I'd also like to have seen you be more active as well. You no doubt seem helpful and constructive, but nevertheless and, as such, this is, as I say, regrettably, at least a bit [[w:WP:TOOSOON|too soon]].
