About My New Account[edit]

I honestly had forgotten that I am only allowed one account here. And as such, I won't use the account I just created for any reason. Can I please be unblocked? I'll go back and reread my unblock conditions Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 14:22, 17 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

You’ve been told countless times to re-read and make sure you are familiar with your unblock conditions, so that’s your responsibility, not ours. And that new account wasn’t the only reason for the block, you also used your sysop rights to mess with your own block and tested on talk pages. The community has been lenient enough already. X (talk) 14:25, 17 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
I definitely should have kept in mind the conditions and I will do better with that in the future. And I probably shouldn't have touched the partial block in any way, but the only thing I did with it was eenable account creation. I didn't edit any talk pages in any way. Can I have just one last chance? Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 14:37, 17 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
I’ve deliberately left your talk page access op±en so you can appeal. If you wish to do so, @Dmehus or @MacFan4000 as uninvolved stewards may review it. It’s out of my hands now. X (talk) 14:47, 17 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Dear @PiccadillyI have blocked you indefinitely because you are using another account that is not allowed for you. After three months, you can appeal the blockage. Sincerely, Drummingman (talk) 14:48, 17 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
An aggravating factor here is that you had changed the blocking and was already partially blocked with all previous blocking and advance warnings. Drummingman (talk) 15:15, 17 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

All right, I will appeal in November. Can my talk page please be protected until then so I'm not inclined to mess around with it until then? Thanks. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 02:16, 18 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Done. If you need it removed for any reason, just DM me on discord. X (talk) 02:24, 18 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppetry[edit]

The use of an IP address to evade your block and its purpose doesn't look good. Why? Justarandomamerican (talk) 01:07, 11 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Talk page access disabled[edit]

Hello. Your talk page access has been disabled, as you have been sockpuppeteering and have done so 2 times since you were blocked. Appeal to staff@testwiki.wiki once all conditions for appeal are met. Justarandomamerican (talk) 13:24, 3 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Procedural comment: User has socked as of February 9th 2024. Appeals will not be accepted for 6 months from that date. X (talk + contribs) 20:25, 9 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Steward here to add a caveat: There is currently an appeal under consideration. This therefore only applies if the current appeal fails. Justarandomamerican (talk) 01:08, 10 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Unblock[edit]

As per consensus on the email list, your unblock request has been accepted. I have already blocked you from certain namespaces. To bureaucrats: You may block this user for the rest of the day and remove her rights if she violates standard practice and makes disruptive edits or violates the restrictions the community advised in the last unblock 3 times. Once she gains sysop: She is additionally not allowed to edit any abuse filters whatsoever, and may not unblock herself. Justarandomamerican (talk) 18:30, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. Is there any restriction on when I can request sysop? Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 18:32, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'm putting an indefinite restriction on that for now, as we have not yet come to a consensus regarding your rights. Justarandomamerican (talk) 18:34, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have given her some minor rights like patroller so she can test without admin tools. This should be sufficient until the stewards make a decision. X (talk + contribs) 18:37, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Just as an additional reminder, you are to use this account only. Editing from an IP address or other account will result in additional sanctions at the discretion of the stewards. Thank you for understanding. X (talk + contribs) 20:13, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I understand. I won't make any new accounts or edit using an IP. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 20:47, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Just to remind myself...[edit]

I'm putting a list of the conditions I need to remember and abide by in order to keep testing here.

-No bad words or random letters in any edits
-Only use this account (Piccadilly) here and don't edit through an IP
-Don't edit any abuse filters
-Leave the partial block on me alone Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 02:37, 12 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, read through it, let me know if you have any questions. Then we can do some scenarios with sysop tools, then you can take the "quiz" to get your badge. X (talk + contribs) 01:03, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I will go read it now and then let you know here when I'm done. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 01:06, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Okay, sounds good. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 01:15, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Good job. FYI, if a page is completely vandalism with no good version, just use regular, not revision deletion. We can do the test tomorrow. X (talk + contribs) 01:37, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I'll remember that. So if I pass the test, will I be given admin rights again? Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 01:38, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
It's likely that would influence our final decision. Justarandomamerican (talk) 01:40, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please wait for a bit. @X: I've mentioned you on Discord about her rights. Please respond with your observations and/or a helpful recommendation once able. Justarandomamerican (talk) 03:33, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

A barnstar for you![edit]

  The Resilient Barnstar
Despite being blocked, and even banned, several times, you are remorseful, work to do better, and constructively test, with an interest in helping out in non-test areas. Most people like you would give up by now, hence why I am awarding you this barnstar. Justarandomamerican (talk) 03:32, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. I really appreciate the kind words. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 06:36, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Warning[edit]

Creating random talk pages, no matter the content, is not allowed as it shows a tendency to revert back to your old behavior. I have added the talk namespaces to your block to help prevent you from doing this again. Thank you. X (talk + contribs) 11:42, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

All right I won't try to make those kinds of pages again. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 12:07, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
This is your second warning. Please don't test on non-test pages that are clearly marked. Thank you. X (talk + contribs) 19:08, 18 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
In addition, your block has been extended to the Test Wiki namespace. This is your final warning. You may be blocked from editing Test Wiki without further notice if this doesn't stop. Justarandomamerican (talk) 19:12, 18 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I will be very careful with all of my tests from now on. I really don't want to be completely blocked again. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 19:17, 18 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Posting Request[edit]

I can't edit the Community Portal right now, but if it's allowed, I'd like to share my vote on Zippybonzo's appeal, which is as follows:

I supoort his unblock as well, as the other wiki isn't functional now, and I believe he should be given a second chance. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 20:27, 18 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Let me reduce your block temporarily. Justarandomamerican (talk) 20:28, 18 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

My Note about Cocopuff's Concern Regarding Zippybonzo[edit]

(If someone could copy this over to the Community Portal, I would appreciate it.)

Perhaps if Zippybonzo is unblocked, it might help to havr an interaction ban between him and Cocopuff? Like they sometimes do on Wikipedia. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 15:16, 19 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

A Question About Bureaucrat Privileges[edit]

I know the subject of my bureaucrat righta had come up during our email conversation a few weeks ago, but I wasn't sure wheter a firm decision had been made. Is there any length of time I have to wait before requesting bureaucrat? Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 12:36, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

You'll get crat rights when and if we deem you ready to receive and be trusted with them. Justarandomamerican (talk) 13:10, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
All right. I'll just continue too work on showing that I can be trusted. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 13:20, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

My vote for EPIC's stewardship[edit]

(I can't post on the Community Portal so I'm recording my vote here.)

I support him becoming a steward. I think he'll do a great job. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 14:00, 29 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Appeal of partial block[edit]

Since I have been testing here for a few weeks without problems, I was wondering if my partial block can be lifted. I would like to become a bureaucrat so I can help with granting user rights, and I would also like to be renamed to Fullegente. Thank you. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 00:27, 4 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

I am willing to grant the unblock and rights on the condition that this is your chance to prove that you understand the behavior you have been blocked for and will not repeat it. If you ever disrupt Test Wiki again or create a mess for someone else to clean up, such as by not quickly deleting test pages, you will be rapidly reblocked and indefinitely banned. Are these conditions clear? Justarandomamerican (talk) 01:44, 4 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
If Justa wasn't clear enough already, this would be a "1 strike, you're out" deal. Once chance and no appeals if conditions are at all broken. X (talk + contribs) 01:48, 4 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
I clearly understand the conditions and that this is my last chance. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 01:51, 4 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Done. If you use this chance well, I or another Steward may lift the conditions, but not in the near future. Justarandomamerican (talk) 01:55, 4 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay. Thanks for granting my appeal. Piccadilly (My Contribs | Talk to me) 01:56, 4 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Reblocked per abuse log. X (talk + contribs) 13:36, 7 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

About My Current Block[edit]

I acknowledge that I shouldn't have attempted any of my old habits again here. And I won't do so anymore. However, since my action was stopped by the filter, I don't think any disruption was caused. (And if that page had been created, I was going to delete it right afterwards.) So I don't think it's necessary for me to be blocked again. Piccadilly (My Contribs | My Messages) 14:17, 7 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

If it would help, maybe I could be partially blocked again, but with a set minimum period of time before I can ask for the block to be removed. Piccadilly (My Contribs | My Messages) 19:46, 7 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

As X and Justa have already stated: "Once chance and no appeals if conditions are at all broken." Sav • ( Edits | Talk ) 21:34, 7 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have re-revoked TPA, stewards can reverse at will. Seawolf35 (talk) 22:38, 7 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Steward note, evidence has been received of this user targeting a racial slur at Miraheze stewards and CVT members in an apparent attempt to badger them into an unlock of her account. Therefore, she is indefinitely blocked from Test Wiki. Justarandomamerican (talk) 19:02, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for this update. Sav • ( Edits | Talk ) 17:11, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Talk page revocation is reasonable. Ideally, I prefer talk page revocation via page protection, so a reasonable protection level timeframe (usually 30-60 days) can be set. I have also allowed the user limited, reasonable use of Special:EmailUser to appeal their block (no more than one appeal within thirty days) and so discourage them from creating sockpuppet accounts. Dmehus (talk) 19:06, 27 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Dmehus, Piccadilly should not be permitted to appeal their indefinite block. As per Justarandomamerican's comment stating she is indefinitely blocked from Test Wiki, along with evidence has been received of this user targeting a racial slur at Miraheze stewards and CVT members, it is clear that rehabilitation into the community should not be considered. Sav • ( Edits | Talk ) 18:25, 30 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
It is possible that you could convince the community to ban her on Test Wiki:Community portal, which would require an appeal to be forwarded to the community. Justarandomamerican (talk) 21:50, 30 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
She is already community banned. Per Test Wiki:Blocks and bans, "Bans may be implied (most often by the community declining an unblock request) or explicit." Thus, the community must be consulted before unblocking Piccadilly. X (talk + contribs) 11:48, 1 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@X and Sav: I'd have to disagree with you, X. The community has never declined an unblock request or explicitly banned her, and a reasonable administrator may be willing to unblock her. You'd need to request a ban on the community portal, Sav/X. Justarandomamerican (talk) 00:12, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'll request a ban on the community portal, thank you. Sav • ( Edits | Talk ) 01:00, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Done Sav • ( Edits | Talk ) 01:09, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sav, I think you misunderstood. Being allowed to appeal a currently indefinite block does not mean the appeal will be successful. They appealed their block over a month ago (or so), and it's not been removed, fundamentally, because, as Stewards, we agree they're not ready. When we do feel they're ready, I'd be happy, and am sure Justarandomamerican and Drummingman would be happy to consult with the community on what restrictions are needed, the duration of such restrictions, and a timeline for a gradual removal, as well as penalties for contravention. Allowing appeals is an important part of due process; to not allow an appeal, we'd be no better than, say, a totalitarian state like North Korea or even Russia, for that matter. At the end of the day, it's about balancing both due process as well as getting community feedback to ensure the user can be reintegrated. As to the racist slurs and racially insensitive comments, I am well of those. Piccadilly goes by Skiyomi on English Wikipedia. I've told them before it's not acceptable behaviour, will be revision deleted, and is grounds for immediate rights revocation and/or blocking or partial blocking as necessary. I know they don't mean them, and the user has said in our #testadminwiki IRC channel that they struggle with autism. I take them at face value and am happy to extend good-faith and grace, to a point. We're at the point right now where they need to remain blocked for an extended period of time, to demonstrate to Stewards, and, by extension, the community, they have the capacity to learn. :) Dmehus (talk) 02:26, 8 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Block Appeal[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Piccadilly (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Hello, I would like to ask that my block from this wiki be removed so I can test here. I will obey all the policies, not make useless pages of any kind, and refrain from using any bad language in my tests. I will also only use this account (Piccadily) here and not edit as an IP. I feel that I am ready to return here after this break and will be able to test constructively. And I understand that I need to be extremely vigilant in ensuring I don't mess up here again. Thank you. Piccadilly (My Contribs

Accept reason:

Dear Piccadilly, I am lifting your blockade. Show that you have changed. You must follow these rules for the next three months. If you do, they will expire at the end of those three months.

  • You can create test pages in your user namespace. Outside your namespace, you can't do this for three months. If you do, you'll be blocked by a steward.
  • You may not have bureaucratic rights for three months without permission from two stewards.
  • Don't test the abuse filter. You could be blocked. Don't post racist or offensive language.

If a steward blocks you indefinitely within three months, you can appeal after six months. Before then, it will not be considered. If you have not been blocked, these additional restrictions expire after three months. During and also after these three months, you can only use one account. You must also behave maturely and respectfully toward your fellow users.

I'll say it again, show you've changed. I'm giving you this chance, don't ruin it.

To the Bureaucrats: I kindly request that you refrain from imposing indefinite blocks. I believe that a maximum of one week is sufficient time. This would allow a steward to conduct a comprehensive investigation. Greetings, Drummingman (talk) 11:36, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Comment: I will leave this to an uninvolved steward (not MacFan4000) since this is a steward action. Codename Noreste 🤔 Talk 15:14, 12 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Comment: I have some doubts about whether or not you really don't create a new blank talk page, as you did on Bulbapedia. PB2008 (talk) 09:51, 13 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
I did have some issues with that on Bulbapedia, yes, but it has been awhile since I did that, and I will not do that anymore, either there or here. Piccadilly (My Contribs | My Messages) 13:10, 13 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

I was just wondering: does my appeal have to go to the community portal for any reason, or will a steward decide on it whenever they have time? Piccadilly (My Contribs | My Messages) 17:03, 14 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Dear, Piccadilly, I will consider your appeal. I have the following questions for you? Which I would like to have answered:
  • How will you prevent recidivism?
  • How can we help you ensure your successful reintegration with us?
  • Your behavior on other sites also worries me. You've offended people considerably there, how do you make sure that doesn't happen here?
Dear, @Dmehus, @MacFan4000 and @Justarandomamerican what do you think? Before I will make a decision, I would like to hear your opinion too, of course, the opinion of non-stewards will also be considered.
Greetings, Drummingman (talk) 16:10, 15 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
(Non-steward comment) Piccadilly has disrupted this wiki for a considerable amount of time, and has been given countless chances to improve and change her ways.
As it has been a few months since abuse has occurred, I am willing to support an unblock, but only on a one-strike basis. She would be given a single chance to show she has changed her ways. Any action, large or small, that reflects her past behavior would lead to an immediate, indefinite site-wide ban.
Any other conditions that allow more leniency will not be effective and I would strongly oppose it. X (talk + contribs) 17:19, 15 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
I think the proposed conditions are reasonable. Justarandomamerican (talk) 22:14, 15 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your reply, and I do understand the concerns raised in your questions. To be honest, I think that the best way to ensure my success here is to enable the guidance abuse filter, and maybe also partially block me from the Talk namespace. And if I am unblocked, some conditions that could be considered are the following:

  • I am not to modify the guidance filter in any way
  • I am not to modify the partial block on me in anyway, even for "testing purposes".
  • This is my absolute final chance to test here. If I were to mess up in some way, I might receive one warning, but after that, I would be reblocked indefinitely.

And I wish to apologize for all the trouble I have caused for everyone both here and on other sites. I now understand that I was being very inconsiderate by causing people not only extra work in cleaning up my messes, but also by posting offensive messages. And I sincerely will not repeat any of that behavior.

I hope my reply is satisfactory, and I will answer any other concerns or questions that might come up. Piccadilly (My Contribs | My Messages) 16:23, 15 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I was just wondering if there are any updates about this appeal of mine. Piccadilly (My Contribs | My Messages) 10:31, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

I plan to finish it tomorrow.  :) Drummingman (talk) 11:40, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Personally, I think you've had enough chances. You had plenty of opportunities to show us you can be trusted, and you've used any remaining trust the community had in you. Zippybonzo (talk) 15:52, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
I understand that I haven't used my previous chances well, and I apologize for that. Since it has been several months, though, I feel that I am ready to have one final chance here to show that I have changed. Piccadilly (My Contribs | My Messages) 17:12, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Pretty sure this happened in March. There are ~100 entries in your block log, which is more than many people have contributions full stop. I understand your apology, but within a few months I imagine it will be gone.
I'm happy to unblock for one more chance, no strings attached, and if you break your promises within 3 months, have an indef block with no chance of appeal. If you last the 3 months, blocks could be a bit more lenient. I'm happy to give you another chance to prove you're not going to do it again, but I'm serious that I want this to be the last and only chance. Zippybonzo (talk) 17:59, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
That sounds reasonable, and I will do my best to show that I have actually changed this time. Piccadilly (My Contribs | My Messages) 18:08, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
I suggested this one or two blocks ago. I was basically told by Doug that “we don’t do that here”. X (talk + contribs) 19:24, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
No reason why we couldn't do that. Zippybonzo (talk) 10:20, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you[edit]

I would like to thank Drummingman and everyone else here, for giving me one more chance to test here. I will adhere to the restrictions for the next three months and show that I have indeed changed :) Piccadilly (My Contribs | My Messages) 11:48, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
