Tvars

Hello, welcome to Test Wiki. Our tvars here tend to be a helpful abbreviation (to make translating an easier job). Unless a new link is added, they shouldn't be numbers. Thanks! Justarandomamerican (talk) 15:39, 28 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Retain

Hello @Justman10000, I would like to retain my advance permission. Can you restore it. I intend to be more active going forward. Let me know if you have any concern. Thanks. C1K98V (💬 ✒️ 📂) 09:31, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Bureaucrat

Dear, Justman10000 I saw here, that you had requested bureaucrat rights, which were granted by user Gepard, but not allowed by our Test Wiki:Bureaucrat policy. If I see this, it is also clear that you are not yet familiar with our Inactivity policy and other Policies. Would you please go read them, before you can go apply for bureaucratic rights again in three days? Moreover, grace period are usually set only a few weeks before inactivity regulation takes effect. A month of inactivity is way too early to do that. Greetings, Drummingman (talk) 10:07, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

It is a system account! As the reason says, one could even give it steward, as it is not used by a user! And neither did I know the second, nor is it mentioned anywhere Justman10000 (talk) 10:58, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Drummingman I'm sorry. I know the policy and granted the rights because I thought the User will make no bad edits and had expierience from Wikimedia projects, but I was wrong. Infinityboy7 granted me crat rights until I was active for nearly a day, so I thought this would be also okay. Again my apologises, Gepard talk 11:00, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I know the MediaWiki software and its functions! But I didn't know the second thing mentioned, because it's not mentioned anywhere Justman10000 (talk) 11:02, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
At that time, the policy was not yet in place. But I understand the confusion, we still have to get used to it as a community :-). Greetings, Drummingman (talk) 12:56, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
And @Justman10000,@Gepard you can always ping steward to make exceptions for someone The AP (talk) 13:38, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello

Hello @Justman10000, @Jody, I am not very active these days, but I will try to be active. Will my sysop rights be taken away? Lionel Cristiano (talk) 13:06, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Lionel Cristiano You have sysop permissions since Jody restored your rights. If you are longer than 3 months inactive, your rights will be revoked (see Test Wiki:Inactivity policy), but you can ask to restore your rights at any time. Gepard talk 13:20, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ok thanks. Lionel Cristiano (talk) 17:28, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

System administrator

This request will likely be rejected due to the votes being all oppose. Tailsultimatefan3891 (talk) 20:43, 2 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hey!Justaman10000, You're request for Systemadministrator privileges are now closed by MacFan4000 for this reason per above strong opposition. I think you need to more active on here and try to gain more experience from other experienced editors on here, I hope one day you are working here as system admin. Do one always have to repeat that? I've realised that nobody wants me Justman10000 (talk) 18:55, 3 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Dear, Justman10000, it's not that no one wants you. But people voted against you because they were concerned about your suitability. Moreover, you applied for our most sensitive right we know. So then you should expect us to thoroughly investigate your suitability. So don't take it too personally. Greetings Drummingman (talk) 19:06, 3 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
