For the immediate future I'm unlikely to have much time to assist with anything that takes more than 5 minutes. I may also go some days without stopping by to check for messages. As a general rule I don't mind if my edits or logged actions are reversed if you have a good reason. You can still leave requests below with the understanding that they may not be addressed for some time, thank you.

Addendum: I've been almost entirely without internet access for the last few weeks, and it's still going to be a while before that changes. I still plan on writing up some stuff to help out eventually, so you can leave any information you think will be useful below and I'll see it eventually, thanks. I will get back to this, I will.

Signature

Of course you can have your sig as whatever you would like, but to avoid confusion, may I suggest adding Fast to your signature? Seemplez (talk) 12:27, 12 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ok Seemplez I changed it. Fast - ZoomZoom (talk) 15:22, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Fast: Sorry for the late reply, but thanks a lot. Seemplez (talk) 13:42, 17 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Translation

Once again translation is wonky. This time I somehow triggered filter "High chance of spam 2". How could this happen? I was translating Test Wiki:Privacy policy into Swedish, maybe this is also present in the abuse log? --Sabelöga (talk) 23:49, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sabelöga, yes it is in Special:AbuseLog, and Special:AbuseFilter/52 is responsible, anyway I fixed it. Fast - ZoomZoom (talk) 23:52, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. There's two more, then I'm done I belive. --Sabelöga (talk) 00:11, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Sabelöga sounds good, let me know if you need help, I'll be around another 30 minutes or so. Fast - ZoomZoom (talk) 00:14, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
No, I belive that'd be all for now. Again, Thanks for all! --Sabelöga (talk) 00:19, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Sabelöga thanks for your help. Fast - ZoomZoom (talk) 00:21, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your trick worked!

I figured out how to install RedWarn on this wiki: to add this line to your common.js: mw.loader.load('//en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:RedWarn/.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript'); I discovered this while trying to figure out how to use Twinkle on Wikimedia Commons, and that led me to discover "TwinkleGlobal", which does not work on here, but I then opted to replace TwinkleGlobal with RedWarn, and it worked! @JJPMaster: thanks, although really Naleksuh deserves most of the credit here for getting this one right. So if everything is working more or less as it should please let me know, and I'll try to place instructions for others on how to test it here on an appropriate page since it appears to be a reasonably popular tool. Regarding RedWarn

I noticed that this tool works for the most part.

1. The rollback feature works
2. The warning feature works (see Template:Uw-test1)
3. The protection feature doesn't work, I think that's because there is no such thing as RfPP on here, and on that note
4. It still allows me to report the user to the Trust and Safety team even on non-WMF wikis. JJP...MASTER![talk to] JJP... master? 16:54, 2 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@JJPMaster: Thanks for the update. I'll be sure to include this when I write up some instructions for testing redwarn here. Best, Fast - ZoomZoom (talk) 17:44, 2 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
