I’ve deleted your user script because is a gadget on THIS wiki! Thanks. DodoMan (talk) 17:23, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

@DodoMan, I know it is a gadget, and I copied the code from it to translate strings into English and for other test purposes. I don't understand why you deleted this script from my userspace without consulting me. DR (talk) 17:33, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
This was indeed a poor use of deletion that DodoMan shouldn't have done. Please link the page and I can undelete it. X (talk + contribs) 18:19, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'm completely fine with the removal of the translateadmin right from my account, as I never requested it. However, I think deleting pages from another user's userspace without consultation isn't ideal. I hope you take this suggestion positively :) DR (talk) 18:26, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Would you like me to grant your account sysop (or crat)? We're not like Wikipedia, we grant rights to everyone! X (talk + contribs) 18:29, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for asking. I understand that test wikis like this primarily exist to grant users access to advanced tools for testing purposes, and these tools can be easily granted. While I had these privileges on Wikimedia testwiki before, I currently don't require them. I'm here simply to test ordinary things and assist this wiki by translating some help and policy pages. If I find the need for these permissions, I will certainly request them :) DR (talk) 18:39, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sounds good, if you need anything, let me know. X (talk + contribs) 18:43, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Steward butting in here, please do not delete scripts without permission, generally. I've seen you do so at least twice now, doing so is rather poor form; even if it exists as a gadget, they could be testing something with the particular version of the script (or translating it) and you wouldn't know unless you asked for permission.
