Hey! I'm curious if it's okay to have redundant user rights—in my view, they make it harder to see the actual change in the rights log because of the many user groups. :Dear @[[User:Tester|Tester]], Well, I see your point. We are a test wiki, so testing with user rights is part of the testing process. I don't think we should be too strict if people start giving themselves redundant rights. So I tend to say, "let them do it". As long as they don't grant bureaucrat-like rights to any alternate accounts (sockpuppet and bots), I think it's permissible to have unnecessary rights.
