I want to explain something important to the community, it's about verification and Users who should or shouldn't have the right of admin, as for testing we already know this is a Test wiki where you can Test administrator actions, I would like to ask should we recklessly give Admin and bureaucrat right to anyone without confirming if they're Known users on Wikipedia?, I think we should ask them to confirm their account on Meta to know whether they get to benefit from using MediaWiki Tools or just for Fun.

Recently some users were blocked due to their abusively using multiple accounts. To avoid these users being unblocked by other users who have sysop right wrongly, I'd like to import these two templates from Enwiki and come here to look for some advice

Hi everyone,

Though Test Wiki is hosted on Fosshost (formerly hosted on MacFan4000's cloud-based VPS) and not the Miraheze wiki farm, there's a fair bit of user crossover between Test Wiki and Miraheze users. Indeed, the two stewards and system administrators on Test Wiki are either current or former stewards and/or system administrators on Miraheze. Ostensibly due to real life priorities, not to mention his myriad online activities, Test Wiki has been served, essentially, by only one steward and system administrator in MacFan4000. At the same time, similar to there being a fair bit of crossover between Miraheze and Test Wiki users, there's a fair bit of crossover between Miraheze and Test Wiki LTAs. So, similar to Void, as a Miraheze [[mhmeta:Stewards|Steward]], I'm seeking election as a Test Wiki Steward, so I can assist with those processes. Obviouusly, my Miraheze commitments, which includes my separate involvement with the [https://wiki.mirahezebots.org/wiki/ MirahezeBots] project where MacFan4000 is also a senior developer and bot operator, preclude me from being hugely active on Test Wiki, but this is also ''by design'' as I prefer to let Test Wiki bureaucrats gain confidence and experience in actioning permissions requests and tending to obvious vandalism. And, as a very active user in the Test Wiki IRC channel, as well as Miraheze IRC channels, I'm usually just a quick {{tl|ping}} away.

:Hi, I just have one question. If a bureaucrat or admin sees someone making both good edits but also bad ones what do we do if they don't stop after we warn them? Should we try to alert a Steward as soon as possible and just clean up after them until a Steward can handle the situation? I think that maybe giving a short-term block (like one day) might be reasonable while waiting for a steward, just to stop active disruption until the situation can be handled properly. Just wanted to know in case a situation like this comes up again.

My other plan here is to create a non-test [[Test Wiki:Abuse filter helpers|abuse filter helpers]] user group, to be granted by [[Test Wiki:Stewards|Stewards]], that would allow technically capable abuse filter editors to be granted this permission and be able to edit restricted abuse filters. Users ''may'' request the permission from a Steward, but [[rfc:2119|should]] provide some evidence of technical capability in this area. It would be subject to the [[Test Wiki:Inactivity|inactivity policy]], and could be revoked if an abuse filter helper either (a) repeatedly made unconstructive changes to restricted abuse filters or (b) otherwise demonstrated to Stewards they either (i) not [[w:WP:CIR|technically competent]] or (ii) not trusted.
