I would say that option D seems to have the potential to lead to a number of disagreements and disputes. I understand that a similar confirmation vote was held on nlwiki in the past. (I was not yet a user on Wikimedia at the time.) I believe it was abolished there, partly because of the many disputes that arose from it.
