By default, anonymous and non-confirmed users are disallowed from editing others' userpages (by [[Special:AbuseFilter/122|filter 122]]).

This template, when placed on a user page by the user themself, allows everyone to edit their user page.

Note the filter looks for the exact string <code><nowiki>{{unlocked userpage}}</nowiki></code>; do not change the capitalization or spacing as you would be able to do with other templates. Hiding it using <code><nowiki><!-- {{unlocked userpage}} --></nowiki></code> does not work, and is pointless since the template is already only visible by viewing the source text of the page.
