This address as well as all other IPs in the ranges 192.0.2.0/24, 198.51.100.0/24, and 203.0.113.0/24 are reserved for documentation and example use. See here for more details.

Since it's technically impossible for anyone to edit from this IP, you may test IP blocks on this address as they won't result in any collateral damage.

You may also test range blocks up to /24 in size (remember the smaller the number after the '/' the larger the range, so a /27 rangeblock is larger than a /28 rangeblock). A /24 block on this IP would include all IPs of the form 192.0.2.XX and likewise for the other ranges. You may not test rangeblocks larger than /24, so for example a /20 block though permitted by the software is not allowed.

Please be sure to make the block reason "Test block", since unlike with blocks placed on User:Example or on yourself it may not otherwise be immediately obvious to log watchers that you are testing.
